Warranty Policy:

The warranty policy at Al Saif Development & Investment Store applies in the following countries:
• Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
• United Arab Emirates
• Kuwait
• Qatar
• Sultanate of Oman

Warranty System:

• Al Saif Gallery Company provides a warranty for a period of three years for all Edison products from the date of purchase, provided that an approved purchase invoice matching the product data is available to verify the validity of the warranty period. It should be noted that other brands are covered only by the authorized dealer’s warranty, and are not covered by the quality warranty of Al Saif Gallery Company.
• This warranty may be extended or renewed for repair after the expiration of the basic warranty period by purchasing an additional warranty from the company at the time of product purchase, at a percentage calculated based on the device price.
• The expected lifespan of products varies and can be determined by reviewing the operating manual for each item or by contacting the company to obtain details.

Warranty and Maintenance Terms

• The time required to obtain device information or special customer approval during the “confirmation time” is not part of the maintenance process.
• When the customer submits a maintenance service request, they agree to the use of their contact details and confirm that all information provided during the request is correct.
• The authorized maintenance center provides quality and workmanship warranty for the product in accordance with the manufacturer’s policies and what is listed in the product warranty manual or the manufacturer’s website. To obtain warranty and maintenance services, the customer may contact the warranty service provider directly to receive the required service in accordance with applicable systems and regulations.
• The company is committed to guaranteeing the quality of maintenance work for a period of (30) days from the date of delivery, without prejudice to any additional periods or obligations required by law.
• In some cases, the inspection period will be up to 14 business days as a maximum from the date the product is received from the customer until the customer is notified of the completion of maintenance procedures via text messages, excluding the time required to provide spare parts.
• The customer is required to collect the serviced product within a maximum period of (30) days from the date of notification of completion of maintenance procedures. Notification via text messages or approved communication methods shall be considered an official means of notice. In the event that the product is not collected within this period, the company disclaims responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur to the product thereafter.
• The customer’s initial approval is considered approval to conduct the technical inspection of the product and acceptance of the stated estimated cost. If additional work is required or costs exceed the estimate, the customer will be notified and their prior written or approved electronic consent will be obtained before execution.
• The company undertakes to preserve products during the maintenance period, but it does not bear responsibility for consequences arising from transportation and storage risks during inspection and maintenance operations unless the customer delivers the product to be serviced with proper packaging.
• The company has the right to charge inspection fees for products that fall outside the warranty period. These fees vary depending on the type and nature of the product. The customer will be informed in advance of the inspection fee before providing the service, and the service will not be performed unless the company obtains written or electronic approval from the customer. These fees are non-refundable in all cases, whether the product is repaired or the customer refuses to continue maintenance due to spare parts costs or labor charges.

The company also has the right to withhold delivery of the product until inspection fees and any other outstanding amounts related to the maintenance service are paid, noting that inspection fees are calculated independently from maintenance fees, which include labor charges and spare parts.
• If a defect appears in a product and signs of use are evident within seven days from the date of purchase, requests for direct return or replacement will not be accepted. In this case, the product will be referred to the authorized service center for technical inspection. If the technical inspection proves the existence of a defect in the product that is considered a warranty-covered defect, the replacement or refund request will be processed in accordance with the regulations for providing maintenance services, spare parts availability, and quality workmanship warranty issued by the Ministry of Commerce. The customer will be notified of the inspection result within the period specified in the maintenance terms.
• The customer has the right to obtain a replacement item after paying the fair usage value or to receive a refund of the purchase value after deducting the fair usage value in the cases stipulated in the regulations for providing maintenance services, spare parts availability, and quality workmanship warranty issued by the Ministry of Commerce.
• The fair usage value is calculated based on the number of months the product has been used by the customer from the date of purchase in proportion to the comprehensive warranty period of the product.

The warranty does not cover the following cases:

• Defects or malfunctions resulting from misuse by the consumer, failure to follow correct operating instructions, or negligence in performing periodic and preventive maintenance of the product.
• Consumable parts, whether due to loss or damage.
• Paint defects, scratches, and problems resulting from the customer’s use of the product.
• Cosmetic repair or repair of physical damage that has affected the product.
• Devices that have been subjected to unauthorized modifications or other actions, including food or liquid spills, or external interference that is not considered a manufacturing defect or a material defect.
• Breakage, impacts, cuts, or exposure of the product to external factors such as liquids, humidity, or high temperatures.
• Operating the product under environmental, climatic, or locational conditions that are not suitable for the nature of the product’s operation.
• Using anything other than hot water to test heat-retaining products.
